ABOUT Michael Kelly

Chairman and Non-Executive Director

Michael has joined the Boards of the Cleary Bros Group companies as an independent Director in 2023, and was appointed as Chairman in May 2024.

Michael brings over 30 years’ experience in finance, operations and strategy across Construction Materials, Building Products, Mining and Media.

Previously Michael spent 12 years at Adbri Ltd (ASX:ABC), as Chief Financial Officer (2010-2018) and Executive General Manager of Strategy and Development (2006-2010). Prior to this, Michael held senior positions at Rinker Ltd (ASX:RIN) from 2003 to 2006 and at CSR Ltd (ASX:CSR) from 2001 to 2003, Virgin and BHP.

Currently, Michael is an Independent Non-Executive Director of ASX 100 Cleanaway Waste Management Ltd and is a past director of Independent Cement and Lime, Mawson’s and Chairman of Sunstate Cement Ltd from 2014 to 2018.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Certified Practising Accountant.
