Quarrying

The Company's Quarrying Division operates two quarrying sites: Albion Park (Basalt) and Gerroa (Sand Extraction), as well as a number of mobile crushing and screening units suitable for remote site operation or campaign based production for use by other quarry owners.

Having commenced its sand quarrying in the early 1950's and basalt quarrying in the early 1960's, the company has acquired comprehensive technical/operational knowledge and operates a broad range of fixed and mobile crushing and screening plant, capable of producing a wide range of quality products including stabilised road construction materials.

Albion Park

Cleary Brothers operates a hard rock quarry producing a wide range of construction aggregates. This includes blue metal aggregates from 5mm-200+ mm, road bases of various grades and blended specialty products made to specification. Pre-coat road aggregates of 7mm,10mm and 14mm and cement stabilized road bases area also available.

Gerroa

Cleary Brothers operates a sand mining resource at Gerroa. Sand aggregates are produced servicing a wide area of the region. A limited supply of alternate construction materials are available on site to cater for the local market. Operating Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. Cleary Brothers has had an application for a 15 year extension for the operation of the resource approved. Further details on the application are available here.
