National Professional Driver of the Year Finalist

Cleary Bros is very proud to announce that William Dalgleish has been recognised as one of only three Finalists for the National Professional Driver of the Year.

The 2019 National Trucking Industry Awards "recognise the businesses and individuals who go above and beyond to contribute to the industry and improve their workplace, and each finalist has demonstrated exceptional dedication to Australian trucking through their commitment and hard work,” ATA Chair Geoff Crouch said.

All award categories had an unprecedented number of nominations in 2019.

William Dalgleish is a professional truck driver at Cleary Bros, working with us for the past seven years. Well-known to internal and external stakeholders as a trusted and dependable adviser, William’s career in the trucking industry spans more than 30 years. William demonstrates immense pride in his personal appearance and vehicles under his management, with an impeccable eye for detail. William is focused on the training of young staff and over the last two years has taken 12 inexperienced drivers under his wing, mentoring them to a high standard of excellence. William is also an active advocate for improving industry image, volunteering in numerous ‘Camp Quality Convoy’ events. 

The Awards are announced at the ATA Foundation Sponsors Awards Gala Dinner in Perth in early April.
